Incentive Program

In recognition of AACF's 20 years of giving and as incentive to sustain its continued growth, The Dayton Foundation Iinitially awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000 towards matching funds to those individuals, organizations or corporations who create a fund with AACF at The Dayton Foundation.  The matching monies were to be available until December 31, 2013.  However, given the success of the Matching Program, additional funds in the amount $50,000 have been awarded for calendar year 2015.  This marks the third consecutive time since 2011 that The Dayton Foundation has awarded this grant to AACF.  It is because of the giving spirit in the African-American community and The Dayton Foundation's belief in the community that makes this grant possible.

For donors contributing up to $16,675 or more to new permanent endowment funds during the identified dates, the Foundation will match funds at fifty percent (50%) up to $8,325. This will enable the endowment fund to reach $25,000 and for the donor to leave an eternal legacy.

For potential donors who open new Charitable Checking Accounts (CCA) during the identified dates and make grants from those accounts, The Dayton Foundation will match those funds dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 to the AACF discretionary fund in the donor's name.
