AACF Annual Report
Passing the Torch, A New Era
2021 - 2022 Annual Report
Fiscal year 2021-22 was highlighted by two successful fundraising events for the African-American Community Fund. Funds from these two signature events enabled the AACF to award over $13,000 in grants and scholarships. Additionally, assets under the AACF’s management continued to grow and now include 194 funds totaling more than $10 million. Also, four new funds were welcomed to the AACF family, and we have continued to expand our leadership by welcoming new members to our Advisory Board.
On behalf of the AACF Advisory Board, I want to thank all of our donors and community stakeholders for your continued support. As outgoing president, it has been my privilege to lead the AACF for another year and to remember with humble gratitude that we are keepers of this proud legacy.
We’re excited to share more with you about the new era
we see rising for the AACF, as well as how we’re passing
the torch to a new generation of philanthropists within
the Black community.
Sincerely,
Debbie M. Carter,
President, African-American Community Fund
